Dressing Room Chronicles (Take 2)….
Dressing Room Chronicles (Take 2)….Hey Yall!!!! Hey!!!!! I am so stinking excited to be bringing you guys this second installment today! I hope that this will be a fun added bonus to the blog, and you will rely on this piece of helpful information. Cheers to the summer, and this long summer ahead of us. I am so looking forward to some down time, and just relaxing a bit. Everyone is out of school, and ready for some relaxing 101..
Ok, here is the drill with the new Dressing Room Chronicles... I hunt down some of the cutest items from some of my favorite retailers, and review them for you. As usual the shots aren’t good, the lighting is bad, and I am in desperate need of a hair comb through. Many of the items aren’t a good fit for me, but it’s real life, and real clothes. Hopefully helpful for you to see them this way instead of on a perfectly shaped model. If you missed the last installment on the Dressing Room Chronicles you can find it HERE.

Fit Tip: I am 5’3 (weigh about 160 lbs for real, depending on the french fry count! I am a slight pear shape)
I wear a medium in my tops, and a size 6/8 in my bottoms.
Starting With Dresses…….
Excuse this UGLY floor here at Old Navy in their dressing room. Well, we are here for the installment, and here we go. I am bringing you this little embroidered number with these very cute tassels that they have here. This really felt good on, and I love that the dress was lined too! (bonus). The fabric wasn’t clingy, a plus for me in the summer. This dress also came in another color which was navy blue. I love the white its classic, and would look cute on a vacation, or even with some cute strappy sandals.
Fell in love with the bell sleeves, and love that the neckline didn’t dip too low. This was great find at Old Navy.
This little floral number made its way into the dressing room with me, and I loved the feel of the fabric. This is a size large that I am wearing, and its actually a little larger than the previous one that I bought a couple months ago. It has a swing vibe to it, and it would be very cute with a denim jacket over it too.
Cami Fit and Flare Dress (On Sale) Comes in Other Colors
This next dress was very similar to the last one just in a different color, but it just wasn’t my favorite in color or look. This dress just didn’t make it into my cart, and it wasn’t my speed or style the way it looked on me. The last one fit a lot better, and to me felt a lot better. Ladies, when trying dresses that look the same on the rack, still give them a twirl they can still be very different.
Moving To Shorts……
Shorts is a really tough category for me, because I don’t like my legs right now. All of these shorts that i am about to show you are sized up a whole size, for my comfort. I’m definitely trying to change that, and I am since begun walking, jogging, and squats. Ladies, I am learning if I want to change something I need to change it myself. I will say this though I found some veryyyyy cute styling shorts at Old Navy, and they are super cute.
White Top/ White Pixie Chino Shorts (On Sale)!!!
Now, these next pair of shorts were super cute, and the color was my favorite too! I love these black floral shorts, and they just screamed me and my style. There were so many different pairs of shorts that I fell in love with, and I am so glad that I got some close ups of each pair that I tried on for you guys.
Floral Black Chino Shorts/ White Top
I also fell in love with these cute screaming orange shorts, and the eyelet pattern detail that was on these particular shorts. These shorts scream vacation time, summer waves, and maxing out a cute dinner with strappy sandals, or cute flats too!
Orange Eyelet Shorts/ White Top
Pink Palm Tree Shorts/ White Top
This last pair of shorts were really cute on like the black floral shorts. I love these shorts with the little small green palm type trees on them. These pink shorts were also on my list, and they did look great on. This was the last of my shorts series, until I can work harder on these legs. (ha ha ha)!!!
Starting With Tops…..
The look and feel of this top was amazing, and I loved the soft feel of this jersey type knit. This top was on major sale, and I wanted it in another color too. I loved trying this on with those white chino shorts. This outfit felt so nautical to me, in loveeee!!!
How cute is this little yellow floral wing top? I love the feel of this top, and it was on major sale too! This was super cute with these white shorts, and needed no approval on my end. This was a really good fit, and boob wise I loved it very much.
This was my top outfit at best! I loved everything about this outfit, and it did make it home with me. This would be so darling with some cute, black strappy sandals and a white denim jacket too! This outfit felt great, pants were that stretch fabric but very comfy, and top was just like the floral one.
Starting With Pants….
These chino pants were super cute! I loved the palm prints and the feel of the fabric too. You have to be okay with wearing bold prints if not, then these would definitely make you uncomfortable.

These were super cute, and I am really loving the frayed hem on jeans lately. I have definitely seen a lot of bloggers, wearing these types of jeans too. There were several to choose from. I loved everything that I picked in this round of Dressing Room Chronicles. I am so happy that I have heard some feedback from the last installment.
