This Easy Makeup Tutorial, will help you see how I achieve my eye shadow looks, and try to achieve flawless skin hopefully! This is my personal space, but I am reaching further and further out there to hopefully help someone else be more confident. Disclaimer, I definitely don’t do this routine everyday that I decide to go somewhere. This is just a great way to show you some of my favorite products, and routines that I love when I apply makeup.

Start With A Good Moisturizer….
Make sure that before you apply a moisturizer that you start with a clean face, or you have done your daily cleaning routine. I have shared with you in a previous post my cleansing routine HERE.
Clinique Moisturizer, is so subtle and so easy on your skin. I’ve mentioned before that I have the most sensitive skin in America (ha)!! My sister has been using Clinique ever since she was a teen, and her skin is so beautiful. This moisturizer runs about $20-$26 for the bottle, but a lot of the times Clinique does give away free gifts with purchases.
Maybelline Fit Me Foundation (Dewy Smooth)….
Don’t forget even with this Easy Makeup Tutorial, there will be easy drugstore products to go with it. I use two drugstore foundations that I love, this one listed, and Loreal Infallible 24 hour Matte Foundation, you can find it HERE. This Maybelline Fit Me Foundation comes in several colors, and a few formulas such as Normal to Oily, or Normal to Dry. I needed to find a drugstore foundation that was just as comparable to my MAC Studio Fix Foundation at $28 a bottle! You can find the Fit Me Foundation HERE.
Well, I found it!!!!!!
Waking Up The Foundation…
When I am ready for foundation, I pour it onto the back of my hand for it to warm up. I love how easy it goes on especially when it is warmed up on the back of my hand. This Easy Makeup Tutorial, only gets easier I promise. I am actually prepping for church, and hubby has agreed so sweetly to take these photos.
Brush Being used is a Morphe M439 get it HERE.
This is another one of my favorite foundation brushes that I love so much, been having this one for years. The cost was very reasonable!:)
Fit Me Concealer by Maybelline….
This is some great stuff folks. I love the creamy formula, there are several shades, and colors for any skin type. I have had nothing but good results from this stuff. In the next photo you will see where I apply this concealer to brighten up my face. You can find the concealer HERE.
Using the concealer on my eyelids makes the eye shadow stay put, lasts longer, and makes the color stand out more! There was a time I didn’t use this under my eye shadow, and wondered where it went at the end of the day. Being used under my eye brightens up a tired area, and makes me look more alive too!
This beauty sponge is LIFE! I love using it to apply my makeup in the right places, and it is so affordable. I only use the sponge when I am working with creamy applications like concealers, and contouring my face. You can find a beauty sponge HERE.
Kat Von D Shade to Light Palette…..
In this Easy Makeup Tutorial I am using the Kat Von D Shade to Light Palette, which is so nice. I reach for this palette more than anything because the colors are so versatile. I love using them as my crease colors, and highlight colors too. This particular palette is more on the high end, and I purchased mine’s brand new from E-Bay!! Never underestimate what you can find on e-bay! You can also find the palette HERE.
Here you see my concealer is still doing it’s tricks. I am letting is set, and get nice and powerful under my eyes. I am putting that wash of color on my crease from the Kat Von D Palette. Remember try to have a crease color that isn’t so powerful but, just kind of keeps you guessing a little.
Brush that I am using here is a …. Sigma Blending E25, my favorite crease and blending brush. You can find that HERE.
Single Shadows by Makeup Geek………
This is another makeup palette that I have created with a company called Makeup Geek, in which they have some of the most affordable single shadows ever. I love this brand because you can build your own palette according to what you will wear. This palette was built last year, and I love all the colors. My recommendation is to only purchase colors that you will use often, and or incorporate into your everyday routine. You can find them HERE.
This wash of pink that you see me applying is from the Makeup Geek Palette, not sure of the name but its gorgeous! This is being applied with a very light hand, nothing heavy. It’s just that little something that you see in the background above the crease. It has taken me a long time to play with, and understand makeup. Don’t be afraid to just play with the makeup, it will wash off and go again another day.
If I don’t stress anything else please make the drugstore your friend. There are some really cool makeup products that you can find in the drugstore. I will take an hour of my time, and just search around for mew, and improved products. This little product that I am holding is liquid GOLD, and I love it! This is made by COVERGIRL, and it’s their liquid shadow which makes it even better. I love that power, and consistency of this shadow. This lasts literally all day long, and a little goes a long way ladies. You can find it HERE.
Remember it is quite alright to use your fingers like brushes they work quite well. I love using a good damp lower lid brush, or even my trusty old fingers. Notice that my concealer is still there, and working its magic.
Adding More Depth to My Crease….
In this Easy Makeup Tutorial I am adding more depth to the crease so that the middle color I began with doesn’t get washed away. I am still using my small Sigma blending brush E25.
Using The NYX Wonderstick To Contour….
When I found this NYX Wonderstick, this was heaven in a stick. I love this contouring stick, and it has so much staying power too. It has 2 sides to this stick the contouring side, and the highlight side. It si so easy to use check it out in the pic below. I actually only use this under each cheek bone to, create cheekbones that stand out some. You can find the NYX stick HERE. I even mentioned this stick in my last Friday Favorites HERE.
In this application, I will take my beauty sponge, and buff out the contour softly, to not rub too hard to make it all go away. This will only deepen and darken my cheekbone to give it more definition.
As you can see the contour line is forming as I cut it out with my loose powder by Almay, Light 925. I have been using this pressed powder for years, and still love it. This loose powder will be brushed away at the end, which is very near.
In this Easy Makeup Tutorial I am using ELF black liner to line my lids. I choose liner sparingly, and meaning I don’t use it all the time. This does polish off the look though, and I love it. You can find the ELF liner HERE!
I am finishing this look with my new favorite mascara that pulls out the longest lashes I have, I spoke about the mascara in my May Favorites. I love this mascara, and you can find it HERE!
I hope that this look, and Easy makeup Tutorial helped someone maybe give them a boost of confidence too! Well, I will be coming to you even more LIVE, in my very first YOUTUBE videos. You guessed it, I will be incorporating videos into my blog, and doesn’t that get even more fun LOL!
