Easy, Kid, Friendly Refreshing Strawberry Freezer……
This blog post has been cued UP for a while, and my boys couldn’t wait to show you how this turned out!! This was a TRUE crowd favorite and it was so darn yummy too. This recipe was made by me, and it is meant to be shared with ALL! (your welcome folks).. This drink screams summer, cool, yummy, icy, and so stinking good altogether. We actually loved this so much I made two batches because they were begging for another batch, with the fish tacos that we had that night. Fish tacos will come on another post later, oh man those were so out of sight! This drink all starts with these…. Look for BIG, bright, red strawberries, and ripe. I have to be careful eating these just in this form, I suffer from reflux!:(
You can’t make this drink without limes, and this adds such a twist to this beautiful drink. It works really well for the end of the drink, and gets better and better.
There is NO ALCOHOL in this BACARDI Pina Colada, but it is still very delicious. This is a very kid friendly drink, and my crew loved alot!!
All that you need to have, to make pink sugar is red food coloring and maybe two good drops into the bowl. Please make sure the bowl is big enough to roll the glass around in the sugar.
He loves helping me in this kitchen! Don’t get it twisted here, Caleb loves to eat too! (ha ha ha)..
Easy Summer Strawberry Refresher Made Easy
Bacardi Mixer Pina Colada (1 can)
2 C. of Ice
1/3 C. Sugar
2 C. Simply Tropical
Bowl- For Sugar Rim (Put One Cup of Sugar in Bowl)
Red Food Coloring
I usually cut my stems off strawberries, then I pour in my sugar, then I put in my BACARDI, followed by ice. Blend and Enjoy! Make sure to put two drops of coloring in the bowl, stir it up with a few drops off lime juice into the food coloring, and sugar. Don’t forget to RUB the rim with a lime to get the friction going on the rim of your glasses.
