Cool Layered Looks With Old Navy…..
Heading into Old Navy with this guy was a very funny event! He is always so fun to be with, but loves taking pictures too. Cole is at the age, and size to naturally kind of fall into this Old Navy train. He is 10 years, and is now just beginning to have an opinion about his clothes. I am so glad to hear that because he is heading to middle school next year, and needs to grow about 3 inches. 🙁 (tears here). Usually, I do the Dressing Room Chronicles that I shared HERE and HERE. Well, it is so over due to have my guys on the blog, and be great too! I love shopping for them, and sharing my budget wins is always a great thing.
Check Mr. Cole out in this army green get up with these hiking boots that set it off really well. I actually loved this look on him, and by this pose I think he did too. He is 57lbs, 4’5 , and mighty! This is a real photo shoot of a very opinionated 10 year who likes to pose.

How cute was this look, and adding layers makes this outfit so much more boy worthy. Old Navy adds a lot of great items for boys and producing those looks I can’t get enough of. Cole is easy to dress, and most of the items that I have on him here are on sale, or clearance. I took a cute button down, with a beach night pullover here. Adding that button down underneath added a very fun touch especially with it having another type of print to it.
I was able to take this look and keep the cute slim jeans with a color blocked sweatshirt. I kept the shoes, and loved how they fit with this entire outfit.
Cole decided to take us to the beach, the seaside, the ocean! He loved the easiness of this outfit, and he loves the little graphic tops too! This was a very cute outfit to put together. He wasn’t the biggest fan of the shoes, but soon saw why tennis shoes couldn’t play a part in this snazzy little combo.
This was his most favorite outfit out of all of them. He loves this look as his relaxed school look. This is how Cole usually dresses for school, and he absolutely loves these schoolboy favorites. He is very easy to dress, but he is developing the middle school opinion quickly!
I would love for the boys to appear in the blog, and give you guys different dressing option. Boys are easy, until they start developing more of an attitude about their gear. My boys are really great kids, and can’t wait to share more of their looks on the blog with you!
Do you think it is easier to dress girls, or boys? What is more budget friendly?
