Friday Favorites and Chocolate Chip Cookies……
My teenager Caleb made chocolate chip cookies this past week, but since THEN they have been made twice over. Okay hands down these are some of the best chocolate chip cookies that I have had in a while! They were so easy to put together and we just couldn’t keep our hands off of them!! I promise you will NOT want to share too much. If you know my husband he is a natural born cookie monster, and loves a good cookie. I have made these HERE, and they are pretty popular with the family!! I made these Valentine cookies HERE, and my oldest says these run a close second to the chocolate chip ones.
These are easy to make cookies for this brood, they are NOT too picky when it comes to sweets. Cole and Austin are my pickiest critics, but they loved these cookies! Caleb loved the fanfare when it was all said and done! He has the gene of cooking in his blood line, lol!
Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe
1 cup butter(softened)
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3 1/4 cups flour (give or take a little flour depending on your climate, just feel it as you go and make sure it’s not sticky)
1 cup (or more chocolate chips of your choice)
Cream butter. add in sugars, mix add eggs and vanilla
Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl, and add chocolate chips in the end. Bake at 350 degrees, I bake at 315 because my oven gets (SUPER HOT)!!!!!!! Makes about 2 dozen cookies
Turkish Dish Towels…….
Hubby bought me these dish towels HERE, if you know anything about my taste. I am a hoarder of dish towels, cutting boards, and throws (LOL)!!! These are the small things in life that get my heart pumping.
Family Favorites Together……
Jerral and I have watched this movie HERE, and loved it so much! This gave me GIRL Power!!
This is my favorite KIDS movie of all time HERE, and to your surprise my oldest loves it (don’t tell him I told you that)!
As you can see what I am thinking of here. My soon to be had Spring Break, and where I want to go. Jerral and I are thinking of heading to our spot up in Kyle, TX with some friends. We are Bed and Breakfasts folks, and this is our favorite spot of all time HERE. We want to renew our vows here at 10 years with family and friends. This is definitely NOT one to miss folks. I hope they you enjoyed this post! I would love more subscribers to this little part of my world. See you guys soon!
