Friday Favorites Start With A Valentine Love……
Valentine’s Day is a sweet, sweet day!! Jerral has already been asking me what do I want for Valentine’s Day? I am NOT picky, or BIG on anything in particular. I don’t put in requests, or leave subtle hints so that he can guess what I want. Jerral is everything that I need in a husband, and lacks nothing in the want or need department. I feel as though that at times he deserves some of those things for being an AMAZING father, BFF, teacher, husband, etc..
I am giving you a sneek peek into what I am doing in the house, and what inspires me, or makes my favorite list. This greenery with the most beautiful hydrangeas eat at my heart.
Aren’t they beautiful?
If you don’t know by now I am a HUGE lover of white dishes, and I ordered this beautiful vase a couple weeks ago from target here. I found these cute tiny apples at my local HEB, and my little guy wants me to make mini apple pies. (recipe coming soon)…
This vase gets moved a lot, and its okay because I love it so much. This settee sees so many pillows that it is just my THANG!! (ha ha ha). I am currently in love with these pillows here, and can’t pull myself to spend $45 on a pillow, especially since I want two. Well, I guess we will see folks….
The Nocturnals…………….(The Mysterious Abductions)
Cole and I have been reading this book, and this has been a really great read. This is a middle school read maybe early 6th and 7th grade. He loves the characters, and the fun that the story line brings. If you are a reader like my little dude you can find a copy here.
Apothecary Jars and Cheese Tray……
Ok, favorite thrift find here. I loved finding these Apothecary jars for my kitchen. We are still trying to get settled here. These were a sweet find, and I couldn’t wait to put them to use. This cheese tray that was gifted to me by one of my students last Christmas. This cheese tray has finally found its way out of the box. Isn’t she beautiful in all her glory? Its so cute how the little spatula knives can be hidden away within a drawer below the tray. These tray will be used soon on a date night with some hugs and kisses.
These are some great Valentine’s ideas, that are very inexpensive and cost little to nothing to do, or make!! We are easy when it comes to gifting to each other, and or giving to each other. We love those gifts that are more to the heart, and gives us that mooshy gooshy feeling. This heart scratch off lottery ticket, is so sweet, and keeps you guessing.
This is another one of our things. Jerral and I are ice cream fanatics too. The only thing that I would change about this would be to put a different flavor ice cream. I am NOT big on strawberry ice cream at all. These would be a great date night treat to make together, especially after a romantic dinner for two. I hope that you enjoyed these Friday Favorites, thanks for stopping buy to visit with me…
