Hey Friends Happy Friday 5!! I am so happy this Friday because I woke up this morning blessed, and highly favored. I am growing BIG on this clarifying Clinique lotion here. This stuff is amazing and I love how light and penetrating it is to my skin. I actually use this as a primer under my makeup. Where have you been all my life? #cometomebaby This stuff sits on my new vanity here in my bedroom, and it is something I keep grabbing always.
As, this blog grows you will see me focus on a variety of things from home decor, resalvage “DIY”, thrift and vintage items, recipes, beauty, and fashion. The Kelly green cabinet that you see there in the background was my mom’s china cabinet (RIP mama), and I wanted to keep this piece for the years to come. You can defintely do your own resalvaging. I resalvaged this beauty with this #poppin green with the black and white background.
I have been rehauling this 1980’fixer upper, and I have a lot that will be popping up here soon, so stay tuned and bare with me. (Ha ha ha).
Well, this ain’t where the magic happens, but I am beginning to love this space. Hubby bought me a white shelf to store some of my shoes, mostly heels. If storage is becoming a problem this would be great alternative to storage, and becoming a “CUTE” space. I had a small space between my vanity, and the wall by the window which was nice for the light, and working too. This space is not complete, but it definitely makes me smile. #thanksbabe
As, you can see I love beauty products, and jewelry. This is nothing new to my arsenal except more jewelry and shoes LOL. This is a great space I have coming together here, and more things to come in the house that Mr. JW and I have been working on. I am excited to bring a “DIY” jewelry post to you soon that I found on Pinterst. (hope its not a FAIL)..#lol I love cosmetic bags, and I try not to overspend on them because I tend to go through them atleast every six months.
You wouldn’t believe that some of these plants here on this little stand are more than 10 years old. They may even look 10 years old. My hubby has been caring for his “PAPA’s” plant since he passed years ago. Are there any plansts that have lasted for more than 5 years in your home? (Papa) was his grandfather, and when I tell you I see that man through my husband. He put so much influence over his life, and I just love when he talks about growing up with his Papa.
What are your 5 for this Friday? How has this week blessed you?
