How I Used Marshall’s To Refresh My Work Space…..
Hey friends.. Heyyyyy!! I went on a mini vacation with my boys to Austin,TX and we had a really relaxing time. Hanging out, and eating all of Austin’s quirky eats, and treats. While we were on this vacation I had been wanting to refresh my work space at home, and do something on a small scale, and unique. I am always looking for a way to stay within a budget, and that was what I had accomplished. On this trip I set a budget of $75.00, and made it to $67.28 wohoooo!
Designing Interior Spaces…..
Design and interior decorating has always been a passion of mine, and I love being able to share that with my readers especially if its on a budget too! Jerral and I have decided to take this blog to another level by helping others design their homes beautifully on a budget. There is a DESIGN TAB on the menu bar of my blog, and my services are listed there. Currently, I am working on a redesign of a kids playroom with a client. I have chosen some very unique, kid friendly pieces, for her sweet little family. Sharing my home, and what I do to make it home will always be an open book to this blog!
My Work Space
As you all know that me being a lover of all things pink, well not all things totally! I embraced this color even more after I lost my doll (my mom). She wore pink well, and it will find its way into my home without a doubt. Ever since I have been working on more, and more content. Planners such as this one helps me keep everything in order, and my head straight. This was a beautiful washed water color planner, that fit perfectly into my scheme.
This was the cutest lamp I ever did see. I was so stoked about this little lamp, that I just had to have it. I work at night here at my desk, and don’t like to shine the light on Jerral while he may be sleeping. This light is low light(meaning not too harsh), but enough for me to have right here in front of me.
Adding Plants Real or Faux……
In my photos all of these plants are faux because my house just doesn’t get the sunlight directly through certain windows. We have tried so many different windows, but its just NOT enough for these poor guys. There are some in my kitchen window ledge, but they are getting the maximum sunlight! I prefer not to crowd my ledge with too many, but I do have those there which is working right now.
Here is my top choices for pretty succulents in pots, or my first love hydrangeas! 🙂
