I am a big supporter of timeless, classic pieces that you just will try to love forever!! Sometimes we need some inspiration to know what we DO love. We look to either what is trending online, magazines, or shops. Honestly, I get most of my inspiration from Instagram, small shops, and catalogs. I am sure whenever you buy something new, you think “I will LOVE this forever”!! Or at least you think that you will, or I hope I do!
I recently came across this article that I read that is called “Ten Things or So Called Ideas that You will Never Get Tired Of”. I agreed with most of it..Here is their list…

2. Chalkboard Paint.
3. Subway Tile
4. Open Shelving
5. Fairy Lights
6. Repurposed Items
7. Farmhouse Sinks.
8. Barn Doors

10. Chalk Paint.
Country Living Magazine…….
Ok, this list came from the infamous magazine ‘Country Living”, so of the items won’t be exactly the same depending on your style and decor. You can read the full article HERE.
So from this list I was inspired to show you my list here of the Trendy pieces of home decor-That Will Last!! These are some of my favorite things that have lasted my crazy decorating behaviors. These are pieces that you will love forever!!
Subway tile is just one of those timeless, and classic features in a home that never gets old to me. When Jerral and I were choosing this house the subway tile took us by surprise but so well worth it! We only have the tile in the kitchen, which is so nice to me. Our subway tile has a light grout in between which I love more than a little bit. If you want that clean classic look in your kitchen check out some of these kitchens below.
My Kitchen Love…..
When we first walked this house we fell in love with all its beauty. I had seen the subway tile in a lot of different places, but was so elated to see it in our forever home.
I am BIG on marble, and this was also another bonus in this house, all of the counter tops throughout the kitchen, restrooms, and just all over the house. It flowed nicely all over the house, and if you didn’t get a chance to take the home tour its, HERE. Marble allows the kitchen to flow well. The only other marble that I have from aside the counter tops is my marble pieces that I may purchase which is my cutting board. I have also written about my favorite cutting boards HERE, its a bad habit that I have people. (LOL)
White plates and dishes
Ok, another terrible obsession that I have is these white plates and dishes that I can’t get enough of. I started putting them into my green antique cabinet. I am also not too shy of anything floral, and or vintage patterned dishes too! This makes my heart skip a beat, these speak my language. I think that food looks better on white dishes, and more appealing too! White dishes will always be classic to me, and I don’t always get them brand new thrifting is great too.
Classic White Quilt
I love WHITE bedding!! A friend of mine visited during Cole’s party and said, “I don’t know how keep this bedding white”. Believe me hubby had to take a crash course on white bedding. I do believe that he is better than me at times. This will forever have my heart, and I will accent with gorgeous throw pillows that have color. White bedding keeps the room clean, fresh, simple, and elegant. This is my bed currently, and I am looking for some throw pillows as we speak.
This will truly stand the test of time, and will only get better with age. Isn’t this a timeless feel of a piece of furniture that may be well worn, but still be so classic. We don’t have any leather pieces yet, but I am waiting to order this beauty HERE!
What are some of your favorite Trendy decor pieces? We feel as though these things will always be classic, and never fully go out of style. Thanks for stopping by…
