Hey Yall! Heyyyyyyy! I have been so eager to bring to you this updated Master Bath reveal, and let you in on what we have done in this restroom exactly. We moved into this home December 30, 2016, and we have been in love ever since. I feel that Jerral and I had a great restroom already. We just wanted to give our restroom a little personality, our personalities! Simple goes a long way folks)….
Here is a pic of the restroom NAKED…..
As you can see this restroom doesn’t need much of anything. We decided not to put curtains up in this restroom, or roman blinds for two reasons. I love all natural sunlight, and windows are my favorite. Roman blinds aren’t an option for the very reason that my neighbor’s garage door is right by my window. They’re driveway is directly outside the window, where their son plays basketball with his friends. I would have to say that privacy is of the essence for my husband and I.
This restroom yields us so much space, and I love that we do have our own sides (come on ladies you hear me)!! 🙂
Jerral somehow though seems to always end up brushing his teeth on my side, or prepping on my side.
This tray that you see here on the bottom with the gold stripes, was on my side of the restroom but just didn’t work for me. Jerral needed more love on his side, so I gifted this to him LOL! Remember it is always okay to repurpose, and shop your home for new looks, in a new place! I purchased the wooden tray at Home Goods, to give that male edge to his counter space. I didn’t want to put flowers on his side, but he did love the plant that I chose.
Jerral actually found this quote in Home Goods, and thought that this actually fit our personalities at this exact moment. I was looking for a BIGGER painting, of some sort! I just couldn’t put my finger on it, and sometimes bigger isn’t better. This is his side of the restroom, and I let him be the owner over decorating his side.
Feminine Touches In Between…
Jerral is a simple guy, and he didn’t want to much stuff hanging around on his side of the restroom. I actually didn’t want to overdo the decor of the restroom we loved it in all its simplicity. Small touches can go a long way for us. So now that I am done with showing you his side, here is a few touches added to my side. We added more floral arrangments on my side, and feminine qualtities.
I found this beautiful gold tray with the added decorative edge, and it was perfect for my makeup storage on the counter top! I love that I can have my makeup onthe countertop, so that I can stop reaching under the counter for it. There is a mirror at the bottom of this tray, it truly is gorgeous.
This restroom covers all of our needs, and we love having all this space as weel. This bathroom was one of the selling points for this house, and we love every inch of it. There is still more to this house that I am working my way through, but I am aware that it does take time to decorate, and money too! lol. The zebra basket that you see there is where we throw all of our dirty clothes, it’s the hamper shoot. I love the built in cabinets they are so gorgeous. I am a lover of all things bright and white, my kitchen is the same way.
