Hey friends… I know I took a small break for a few days to actually just sit back, and relax a little. Also, my boo wasn’t feeling the best, and needed a little loving from me.

We are feeling better, and are on the up swing of things. So lately, Jerral and I had been struggling with a new idea we wanted to do with our stairs. We really wrestled with how we felt about the stairs currently, and would it devalue what we already had.

Ok, this has been a heavy decision for us based on quite a few reasons. Jerral and I bought this home for the LIFE existence of being our dream home, and for our boys to grow up in also. The schools here in this neighborhood are no short of AMAZING!! Also, the neighborhood is very ideal, and we enjoy raising them here. My husband teaches at the local neighborhood junior high, and I am only up the road. We have also made some pretty awesome friends too!

Current Stairs……. (Which We Love)…

This Christmas will be one year that we have been here, and we absolutely love this place so much! Oh ye “US” of little faith not really thinking we could live in this type of house. I am learning that life is only attainable, by how far I see it! I am definitely learning that God is a good God, and will always be available for my needs, and the desires of my heart! 🙂 Decorating is taking me some time, but believe me I am enjoying the process.

If you remove in future you have to apply a new finish to stairs.

All of these runners are inspiration of what I am loving, and the change that will soon be coming about in our home. We truly do try to make our home a home, and that feels really good! I’ve been pining away at trying to make this home “US”, and unique. Isn’t that what your supposed to do to a home, make it yours, fill it up with your story. My goals is to have a purpose filled home, I wrote about that HERE.  It is so important that the biggest memories are made here too, and we can’t wait.
