#WilliamsPartyof6… Your table is ready!! (ha ha ha) I love to hear that sound because it means that I am not cooking friends. It also means that someone gave me the day off, and to not feel guilty. A time ago this was a go to that my mom and I indulged in. It was almost like our girls night guacamole, and that definitely couldn’t be passed up. Since I don’t have my girl anymore,:( it is something that I pass down to my boys, and they have a deep love, and passion for it. Recently, I spoke about these traditions, and shared those things here on my first first YouTube video. I am so excited about this new endeavor with my readers. My blog can insert a lot of words, but it is nothing to actually listen to, and see the voice behind Delightfully Styled. Take a look, and I hope that this blesses you, and maybe you might become a long term subscriber.
My YouTube Debut….. (There Is So Much More Coming Your Way)….
Thank you so much to all those family, and friends who have watched, subscribed, and just supported this platform. I am always and forever grateful for your love, and leadership as I build this platform. Ok, down to the guacamole and chips with a great margarita (not see on pics) LOL. I will definitely insert a link to a drink though I make for my boys that they love, and we do this drink with our guacamole.
Our Version of Great Guacamole…….
It is always a great thing to choose the best avocados, and limes to bring this recipe to life. I will be honest there isn’t any more ingredients added to this recipe. I am so sure that there are some guacamole recipe lovers who love tomatoes, fresh garlic, red onions, etc. They love all of these goodies to be added to their guacamole, but we are super simple here. Being that a lot of kids thrive off texture, and at times even my husband and I do. I love eating all of those things listed, but not in my guacamole. 🙂 Ok, on with this recipe woman…LOL!!
These avocados were really nice, and healthy which renders me a great guacamole to work with. These avocados are so nice, and yes I had alot!! They were 2/$1.00, which is NOT a huge sale but better than $.68 for each one. So anything helps especially if it is something we really love a lot! At this point in the prep process, I usually pop the seed out by hitting it with the blade of the knife. Please be very careful with this, you can really hurt yourself. Here is a really great example HERE! (Take a look)
Needed Flavor….
This recipe will not go unhitched if I don’t add these essential ingredients such as black pepper, garlic powder, Tony Chacheres, a Himalayan Pink Salt. When I do have some on hand I always would add dollop of sour cream to this recipe (depending the amount) small, one dollop, BIG two dollops!
My hubby rolls these limes to get the maximum amount of juice out of them. It works, and it really, really works!! We used about 4 limes in this recipe, and it was great!
Here I am using my masher, and it does a great job for me!
Now that I am at the end of this recipe, it is time for me to transfer this yummy goodness to my pretty bowl I found for $1.00. Yes, a $1.00 that’s great shopping friends. The black and white bowl that you have seen in and out of this post. Whenever I making this guacamole dish, this drink HERE is my boys favorite.
