During the course of a school year, it can take a toll on any healthy teacher’s body, and immune system. Honestly, it takes more work to be absent than present! The teacher loses ground with the kids, and the kids’ don’t have their solid daily routine, due to an ill teacher! Teachers do believe in trying to stay as healthy as possible.
Also eating properly to sustain seasonal junk that floats around any classroom filled with little people. We also work three times as hard to keep the kids healthy with hand washing, hand sanitizer, and covering while coughing, or sneezing in such a closed environment.
Working With My Antibiotics….
I have definitely implemented a few key things into my routine to help me bounce back faster, and feel overall healthy. When I am trying to get well there are a few key things to implement into my routine that I start with immediately. When the doctor has prescribed antibiotics, I know that I am fighting off some very serious bugs. I also spoke to my doctor about my gut health and wanted to make sure that it was intact with good bacteria, along with the bad.
Every gut has to have a healthy balance of both to have an optimal environment. Since I began taking the Align Resistance Probiotics it was #1 Doctor Recommended. You know that antibiotics are great at killing bad bacteria, but they also kill good bacteria in your digestive system, like the ones found in most probiotic supplements. Align® Resistance Formula Probiotics are clinically proven to help maintain digestive balance* with large, strong probiotic cells that survive antibiotic use.**
I definitely try to make sure that if I am out of the classroom, my time is spent getting well, and resting. The first part of my get well routine is to stay put in my bed. My husband is super sweet about bringing my breakfast to the bedroom, and my favorite books too! I take this time catch up on my favorite reads, shows, and rest included.
Getting in a good amount of liquids and nutrition helps keep my strength up. As with a lot of the antibiotics you need to have food on your tummy in order to not get even more sick, or nauseous. While on these medications I work hard to make sure my gut (tummy) stays in tact. A heaping bowl of oatmeal, and lots of liquids help me.

Kicking Out Classroom Bugs….
I also make sure to grab a healthy breakfast in the morning, and get in my OJ! As I transition back into the classroom I always make sure to get a breakfast in every morning whether it’s toast, eggs, oatmeal, and or a smoothie. Along side my breakfast it is equally as important to get in my probitotics to keep my immune system in tact, and also keeping me in the classroom with my littles. Since I will be returning back to campus on antibiotics, I have to take them in tow with me.
Once it is time for me to grab my things, and run off to my classroom. I always make sure to throw my Align Resistance Probiotics into my bag along with the rest of my stuff. If I am on antibitotics for atleast 14 days, it will remain apart of my routine throughout. Even when I return back to work. I always try to make sure to include this on my grocery list, especially since I do my grocery pickup with Walmart. This makes it easy, and timely for me to grab the things that are important to my household.
Walmart Grocery Pickup, Is Timely For Me…..
I have learned to use my resources for all the things. I didn’t feel 100%, but picking up my groceries kept me from doing too much. As, I often use their grocery pick up, Align Resistance Formula is a part of my list. You can access the grocery pick up here.
It takes a lot of working parts to get on the mend. I make sure to obey my Dr.’s orders, and get plenty of rest. I also make sure to take my medicine as prescribed.
