Forever Home Tour…..
This has been a long time coming for Jerral and I . I recently posted a pic of us closing on our new house at the Title Company with all my family in tow. Jerral and I have been school teachers for a while now. Both of our years combined gives us about 30 years in the field. We live in an awesome neighborhood, and love this place for our boys. Jerral teaches at the middle school down the road which is about 4 minutes from our front door.
I teach at a new campus which is about 10-12 minutes from home.(Home of the Bentley Blazers).
We are very happy with the way things turned out, and we had an AMAZINGLY AWESOME realtor that took great care of us.
The funny story about our new home is that we were NOT going to go with this one, it was another one in the neighborhood that we had our eyes on. I guess with the God at the direction of this ship he always has the last say in anything that puts air in our lungs, and gives us this heartbeat. I will not sugarcoat this at all this was a very smooth, and eventful ride but worth goals and dreams any day.
Foyer Entrance……
The moment that we stepped into this foyer, we were already in love with this house, but believe me it gets better and better. The floor are so beautiful and they are richly colored all the way up to the upstairs landing.
Some of you may be a little shocked when you see this “wet bar” in the family room. This is an old home that was built in 1984, and has great bones. Jerral and I are not really BIG n drinking anything but H2O, and juice ha ha ha!!! These “wet bars” were pretty common in those time periods, but we love all the character it has to offer.
Formal Dining Room…..
Love the light, bright and airy feel….
Kitchen really gives me all the feels, for beauty. The counter tops are all in my bones so beautiful! I love the cathedral type window, and it has the most beautiful window ledge there.
This area is right off of the kitchen, and family room where I keep my “DIY” settee that you will get to see more of. I love the built in book shelves that are here in the kitchen. Great spot for styling some of my favorite pieces.
Ok, this turned out to be the biggest surprise my hubby and I could ask for in this house. We are really enjoying this part of the house, which is in our master bath. I gave you a sneak peek of this restroom on Insta. The rest of the pics that will follow are just random photos that we have gotten of the house, and love.
Jack and Jill Restroom…..
This restroom is between the boys rooms, and it works so well for this crew of mines. Another great selling point to this house.
I am so glad that you decided to take the tour with me through our “Forever Home”!! Jerral and I are trying to settle in and we have been extremely two tired school teachers. This has been amazing, but eventful too. We never thought in a million years that we could own a beauty like this, but we pray hard and often for our steps to be ordered. This is the first of many adventures, goals, and grand steps. I am so happy and thankful to walk through this life with this man.
