Fudge Brownies have always been one of those desserts that has been a tried and true staple in my home. Since I have been focusing more, and more on my food photography it is time to come up with my own brownie goodness. These brownies remind me of my mom, and how the small things made me happy. She definitely went out her way to give us moments and memories more than anything!
Brownies unfortunately can be ruined, and become little hockey pucks. Fudge brownies have to have a good balance between chocolate goodness, and sink your teeth in to the gooey stuff!
Fudge Brownies For The Win…….
I am always excited about new recipes, and trying to perfect something that can be perfected. Growing up we always made the brownie mix from the box. Well, we are mature, and a full blown mom!! (hint, hint)! We should be stepping out of our comfort zone here ladies. Brownies are one of those things that just brings pure joy!!!!
Fudge Brownies- Ooey Gooey Goodness
Extreme fudge alert!! Let's grab a bowl, and make these extremely fudge, ooey, gooey brownies. These are the ultimate chocolate lover's brownie!!
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 2/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup All Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 bar rough chopped dark chocolate (70% dark chocolate)
- 4 eggs (lightly beaten)
- 1 cup butter
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 13 inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
Set aside melted butter, and let cool slightly. Stir in sugar, eggs and vanilla extract until combined.
Add in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Use a sturdy wooden spoon or rubber spatula to gently stir your ingredients, just until combined. Do not whisk or over mix, for this will add to many air bubbles to your mix. When you over stir you will have more cake like brownies, than fudge ones.
Fold in the dark chocolate, make sure to give it a good stir.
Bake 25-30 minutes until brownies are set, and the toothpick or knife comes out clean.

“(Ultimate)” Gooey Brownies…….
I don’t know who came up with ultimate, but I am sure there are a million brownies that claim ultimate or “fudgiest”. There are so many brownie recipes out there on the internet, I just stick to my tried and true. I don’t like to use the word “ultimate”, because that can be subjective.
We surely don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings by liking a box brownie mix, or that Grandma Sue’s long time recipe. I have to say though this recipe is by far my favorite.
Also, don’t let brownie recipes be too complicated! Also, while searching for brownie recipes to develop my own. I search for the commonalities that most fudge brownie recipes have. Once you see the trends then it begins to speak to you, on how your should look and taste.
Chocolate and or Fudge…….
These two things are the same, but not really! I really threw confusion out into the universe. Fudge catapults you into another place, and comes to the rescue for all it’s goodness. I love a good cake too, this one here is my favorite seasonal cake! As far as brownies, these are my next to give a try to.
Let me know if you try these very yummy fudge brownies. They literally blow us away all the time! Enjoy!
