Lifestyle of a Teacher

Well, my secret is up folks!!!! Hubby and I are doing some home renovations, redos, refining our living space with new things, and mixing it with some of our favorite finds from Goodwill, PennyWise, or Craigs lists treasures. I am not shy of finding a bargain on or in any of these places. I am currently finding some amazing pieces in my local area, and really scoring BIG!! I love a good DIY, a favored makeup item, or even a fashionable piece of clothes. When it comes to my living space,and where I dwell this is my solitude, and I want to reach further into my Lifestyle part of my blog.

 When it comes to smaller things that I can accent my home with these were some of my top choices. and I am so in love with creams, golds, black and white, and making me an area of peace. We live in an older home in a very well established neighborhood in Richmond,Tx. We chose to move to this neighborhood because the kids played outside ALOT, the neighbors looked after each others children, they popped fireworks together as a street, trick or treating is in LARGE numbers, and I mean large!!! Hubby and I are local school teachers, and we noticed once we moved in that my husband has taught almost 90% of the kids that live on the street. Actually, our house is sandwiched in between two of his former students (isnt’ that weird but awesome)!!!

We wanted  our boys to know what its like to grow up playing outside alot, having neighborhood friends, looking forward to traditions in the neighborhood, and a home that not for its antique quality, but the good times we have had in it, and the memories that are made here. I decided in 2016 that we would do our home projects full speed, and make sure to get everything crossed off our list.
