If you’re a fan of croutons, then I have some news for you. You can make your favorite restaurant quality croutons at home in less than five minutes! This is a recipe I know you’ll love and want to share with family and friends.
I love restaurant croutons there is something about them that just can’t be beat. Ive tried several store brands, and they just do not hit like the homemade ones at the restaurant.
Homemade Croutons At Home….
I promise once I started making my own version of this crouton at home, my family didn’t want anything else. These are really crunchy, buttery, and full of fresh herbs. These croutons are highly requested in our house. My boys tend to ask only for these, and also my homemade ranch dressing too! (recipe coming soon) .

Choosing Restaurant Quality Crouton Bread…..
Honestly, any thick hearty bread will work. I love to use french bread that is pretty thick. This bread holds up better in the oven, and tends to hold a really good crunch. I love that the bread tends to hold a lot of the flavor especially when you use fresh herbs too.

Make Restaurant Quality Croutons At Home…
This is a very simple recipe on how to make restaurant quality croutons at home. They are buttery, yummy, and delicious.
- 1 loaf of hearty bread (chopped, and cubed)
- 1 stick of butter melted
- 1 tsp fresh parsley (chopped fine)
- 1 tsp fresh thyme (chopped fine)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp fresh rosemary (chopped fine)
Take your hearty bread, and cube it.
Spread onto a sheet pan, lined with foil.
Take your stick of butter, and melt into a bowl.
Melt in microwave for 45 seconds, and continue.
Take all of your fresh herbs, and put into bowl.
Add in your garlic powder.
Add in your sea salt.
