I have always dealt with some sort of adult acne, at some point in my life. I also had a terrible bout of acne when I gave birth to my second son, and it was no joke people. I was in such a bad way that I decided to go and visit one of my most favorite dermatologist in the whole world over at the office of West Houston Dermatology. At the time I was a single parent, and wanted to date again eventually, but not with that face unfortunately. Well, he gave me hope, and I was so fortunate to have met him, and followed his strict routine, and guess what he put me back out there on the market!!!! I love wearing makeup, and I will say this time and time again, make-up is not your friend. It is one of those things that can make or break your skin care routines.
I promise to this day, I still have some of the most sensitive skin there is. I love make-up and especially finding those things that will work for my skin type. I have run across some products that I live by, and they have been very forgiving to my skin. There are some products that are high-end, and some that are fabulous drug store finds too. I posted a time back about my nighttime skin routine here, and you can also find a video of it here on Youtube. I visited my dermatologist for about 1 year until I could get my face back on track, and used cleaning products that he recommended through his office. As, I worked on my skin through out that year I searched for other over the counter products that were just as comparable to his $30 bottle of face wash. I chose to use this over the counter product here once my full year was up. It is very gentle, and works really well, and when I can’t find this face wash, I tend to reach for this one here.
I recommend using a primer under your makeup, it puts a barrier between your skin and the foundation. I am loving my foundation it is all I hoped it would be. Thank you to Maybelline for this amazing formula, and that perfect 330 color for my skin. There are quite a few colors to choose from, and that makes it really stand out. It is nice to find your makeup must haves, and those things are so nice to your skin.
I love these makeup brushes they are some of my fave go to brushes, and they really hold up well, and do an amazing job on my face. I am not always going to reach for these brushes I also use a lot of ELF brushes they can be bad ass too!!! These makeup wipes are some of my go to wipes, before I begin the hard work off getting off my makeup. These makeup must haves are all for my sensitive skin, and they have treated me well. Here is some of my other favorite products that are in my arsenal, and that arsenal is getting rather big..
