Memorial Day Date Night: Creative Ideas for a Romantic Celebratio

Yes again!! Mr. JW and I have learned through marriage and our church that we must prioritize one another in this journey. That’s why I was so excited to enjoy a Memorial Day date night with this incredible man—especially one without kids in the mix! As both of us are school teachers, we’re constantly surrounded by children, and while we love them dearly, even the best educators need a break. For our special night, we headed to Town Square in Sugar Land, TX, for margaritas and some delicious tableside guacamole.

I decided to keep it casual and cute for our Memorial Day date night. I recently received this top I ordered (after waiting over a month due to high demand), and it was the perfect choice for the occasion. I’m always drawn to white this time of year, and a great pair of skinny jeans is my go-to for any event. I paired the outfit with my new platform espadrilles from Forever 21, which drew lots of compliments during our night out. I hope you all had a laid-back and easy Memorial Day with your loved ones. Most importantly, I want to take a moment to honor those who have served and sacrificed for this country, as well as the families who have loved ones currently serving or lost someone in service.
